NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. 

ENTRY PERIOD: 

This “Soil + Water Creative Contest”  promotion sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) begins on October 3 at 12:01 a.m. PST, and ends October 24 at 11:59 p.m. PST, by which time all entries must be received (the “Entry Period”). 

WHO MAY ENTER: 

The Promotion is only open to individuals who are at least 16 years old at the time of entry, and are legal residents of the 50 U.S. states (or the District of Columbia). Employees, officers and directors of Astral Buoyancy Co. (the “Sponsor”) and those involved in the production, development, implementation or handling of the Promotion, and each of their respective affiliates, shareholders, employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and the immediate family (i.e. parents, children, siblings, spouse) thereof are ineligible to enter the Promotion. By participating in the Promotion, each participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. A maximum of one entry per person.

HOW TO ENTER: 

During the Entry Period, Entrants must:

Create a soil or water-themed piece of artwork.

Submit it to us via the designated landing page linked in our bio, by midnight on 10/24, or by tagging us @astralfootwear  and #soilandwatercreative

The 2 artworks with the most votes by our panel of judges will be selected as the winners and will be announced in stories by 10/26 at the latest.

Note that message and data rates apply if you use a mobile device for entry.

OWNERSHIP:

By participating in this giveaway, each entrant grants to Astral Buoyancy Co. social media rights to the submitted artwork. 

The owners of the winning artworks may also have the opportunity to collaborate with Astral Buoyancy Co. on a mutually agreed project upon mutually agreed financial arrangement.

PRIZES: 

Each winner will receive a $500 gift card to astraldesigns.com. Astral will give away a total of two [2] gift cards.

Winners will be solely responsible for any federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes they receive.  The Winner agrees to complete (including electronically if required) all applicable tax documents including a Form 1099 which will be filed electronically with the relevant tax department by the Sponsor on behalf of the Winner.  The Winner is responsible for paying any taxes on the value of the prize.  

SELECTION OF WINNERS:

By October 26, Sponsor will count the votes received during the voting Period. The potential winners will be notified by Instagram Direct Messages. In the event that any potential winner cannot be contacted, or is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsor will select the artwork with the next highest number of votes. If the alternate potential winners cannot be contacted or are disqualified, the applicable prize will not be awarded. The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of votes received for the respective artworks during the Voting Period. For a winner list, visit the contest’s designated landing page. The winners will be posted after winner confirmation is complete.

RELEASES, WAIVERS AND DISCLAIMERS: 

By entering into the Promotion, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, and representatives and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all liability, claims, losses, injuries, demands, damages, actions, and/or causes of actions whether direct or indirect, which may be due to or arise out of participation in the Promotion or any portion thereof, or the acceptance, use/misuse or possession of prizes. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Promotion is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but, not limited to, fraud, pandemic, technical problems or other similar occurrence, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend or cancel the Promotion, and, in its discretion, award the prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to such time. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

GOVERNING LAW / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: 

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of participants, the Sponsor or the Released Parties in connection with the Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws.
