Hemp exhibits many of the performance properties that petroleum-based synthetics (like polyester) work hard to replicate. Hemp is naturally breathable, cooling in warm weather, odor and rot-resistant, anti-microbial, and durable.

Hemp is grown with little to no pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. It requires 79% less water to grow than cotton and yields 220% more fiber. It also breaks down toxic materials in the soil and absorbs CO2 to improve air quality.

DURABLE AF

Hemp is a bast fiber (which means its a fiber obtained from the stem) and has the longest fiber in the plant world. This produces a fiber three times stronger than cotton, and doesn’t rot. Stronger, more durable textiles means gear that lasts for the long haul.
